Why Sponsor the Northeast OER Summit?

The growing interest in and adoption of open educational resources are changing the way that we teach and learn, but our ultimate goal of democratizing information can be only be met through continued collaboration.  The Northeast OER Summit is a two-day, multi-state collaborative bringing together new and experienced OER advocates for an opportunity to learn and share effective practices.

Each year, attendees include over 500 educators, administrators and other representatives from institutions, companies, foundations, advocacy organizations and policy-making bodies engaged in the work of open education registered at last year’s virtual summit.

Approximately 90% of past Summit attendees come from educational institutions, and virtually everyone is on the front lines of planning, decision-making and/or executing open education initiatives with their organization.
